Leslie Hunter

The main character of the trilogy. Initially she believes herself to be human, but is later revealed to be a half-Avatar. For her home, see Leslie's Apartment.

Personality

Leslie seems quite dismissive of modern culture, calling the current TV trends "mindless trash" _(1.1). Tends to drink heavily when she goes out with her friends Jasmine and Rhiannon, but it's not clear if this is her habit or their influence. Relies on strong coffee to wake her up again after a night out. Suffers from moderately intense hangovers, but it back to normal pretty quickly. _(1.1.2)

History

Leslie has had a couple of traumatic events involving fire; firstly the death of her mother, and then the orphanage fire. This has left her with a phobia of fire, and even thinking about people being burned leaves her nervous and shaking, unable to concentrate because of the nightmare images flashing through her mind _{(1.1.4)(1.1.5)}.
